Friday/ Camp Rock

     Today is Friday, October 30. Yesterday was trick or treat and I got a ton of candy! Every body thought that they were too old to go trick or treating, but I like candy, and I like getting it free, so I went trick or treating. I worked on a society project in English, after finishing the chapter with my group. In science I finished book work and started on a practice test that I will finish Monday. I have quite an amount of homework for the weekend. Hopefully I will get it done pretty quickly.
     Camp Rock is a Disney Channel movie that is on Netflix.  It is about a girl name Mitchie. She keeps asking her mom to go to Camp Rock. Camp Rock is a summer camp that is very musical. Her mom says no, and she goes to school upset. That day, she comes home after school and her parents tell her that she can go, because her mom will be catering for the summer. She goes and faces bullies and she makes friends. But she pretends to be someone that she isn't, and things go wrong.

Thursday/ Halloween Town

     Today is Thursday, October 29. Today is Trick or Treat! It might seem childish for a seventh grader to still go trick or treating, but I like free candy. I am going to be a clown and I am going trick or treating with my friends. I hope that the weather is going to be nice tonight, of course it is going to be a little bit cold, but that is because it is fall. My science teacher decorated his room, plus he put Halloween pictures up where the weather should be. I am so excited!!!
     Ok, so since it is Halloween, it thought it would be okay to break the rules. Halloween town is a Disney Channel Original Movie, but it is not on Netflix. Halloween town is about a girl, who has a, basically, magical family. She discovers a place called Halloween Town, and her grandmother knows about it and is part of it. Her grandmother is a witch, and she finds out that she is one too. Halloween town is a place full of witches and monster and ghouls and ghosts. She faces a problem with a monster, and needs her family's help.

Wednesday/ Mean Girls 2

     Today is Wednesday, October 28. Yesterday was my first day without volleyball after school, and it was pretty good. I didn't have to rush to do my homework and I got to eat as soon as I got home. Usually I am pretty hungry during volleyball. We had to turn in our essay in English today, and my group had to present our summary of the chapter. We just worked on book work today in science, and we looked over the weather and talked for a while, like we usually start the class. Tomorrow is trick or treat and I'm really excited to get some candy.
     Since today is Wednesday, I thought that it would be a good idea to recommend Mean Girls 2. There is a new girl coming to the school, and she is very different. She is a tomboy, rides a motorcycle, and does wood shop. She meets the mean girls of the school and they start to torment her. She starts to get back at them. She also meets anew boy at school. Something goes wrong and people start to dislike her. See what happens by watching it on Netflix.

Tuesday/ Good Luck Charlie Its Christmas

     Today is Tuesday, October 27. It is raining outside, it was all last night, and I had to bring an umbrella to school. We lost our volleyball game yesterday, and my friends and I were crying. It was really sad, that was the last time we would play. We had to take a test in English, it was a practice for the smarter balance test. I didn't get to finish it, because we only had like thirty minutes. We did a book check in science. In advanced studies, we are doing fantasy basketball, and we are doing mock drafts today, I have it next.
     It is getting closer and closer to having snow and winter and Christmas, I mean it is Halloween in like two days. So, I am doing a Christmas movie, Good Luck Charlie Its Christmas. Good Luck Charlie was a TV series about a family with a lot of members. The Duncan family decides to go to their grandparents house for Christmas, but when they are on the plane, Teddy volunteers to take another flight to show her parents that she can be a responsible adult. Her mom goes with her and they have to travel without a plane because all of the flights are booked. It is a really good movie for Christmas time.
    

Monday/ Young and Hungry

.    Today is Monday, October 26. I have a volleyball tournament today. It is an away game. I am really excited about trick or treat this Thursday. We went to the book fair today and got four suckers in English. We used our books in Science to do vocabulary. In General Music, we continued to work on our classical music iMovie.

     Young and Hungry is an Abc Original TV series on Netflix. It is about a girl looking for work named Gabby. She cooks and finds an interview for a cook for a famous man about her age. Thyeah end up really liking each other, but he is engaged. They realize that they want to be with each other, but they always find someone else and are always too late. The first two seasons are on Netflix.

Friday/ Goosebumps

     Today is Friday, October 23. I got signed out for an appointment today in English, so I don't know what we did. Although, I think that we were taking a test. I came back during Science, my next class. We were setting the turtle free out back. We had to climb down a really steep hill to set them free. I  had to do a worksheet in General Music on music math. Then, we worked on our project, an iMovie. My next class is Advanced Studies, and then I have Dev. Guide. Then, finally, lunch!
      Goosebumps is a TV series that is now on Netflix. I'm sure that you have read or heard of the Goosebumps books, by R.L. Stine. It is about people who face creep and scary and just plain out weird and unusual monsters. They face them and most of the time, defeat them. I used to watch them all of the time in Elementary school. They are really good shows that you should watch on Netflix.

Thursday/Hoodwinked

     Today is Thursday, October 22. We had to finish reading chapter twelve in English. We also had to learn the guidelines of an essay that we have to do. We finally got to do the turtle race in science, but mine was a rock. It was going fast when I put it onto the ground, but this one kid kicked the box and made my turtle go into her shell. We have to listen to classical music in General Music and make a movie of what it reminds us of. We basically just have to look up a bunch of pictures and put them into an iMovie. My volleyball team won both games last night, varsity and JV.
     Hoodwinked is kind of an old movie on Netflix, I am not sure that it is still on there, but it might be. It is the little red riding hood story, but with a twist. It is kind of like more advanced of a movie. There are tunnels and roller coasters, and a ton of adventures. It is an animated movie. It is a really good movie for kids. I loved it as a kid.
    

Wedesday/Jessie

     Today is Wednesday, October 21. I had a test today in General Music and it was really easy. The answers were kind of obvious, because the wrong answers were really silly. My group had to start reading chapter twelve in English. Then, we wrote on these purple papers taped around the room. We continued the measurements for the turtles for science today. I weighed mine and then I got a new. I loved to play with them. They are all crawling around in a big baby pool. It is so cute to watch them crawl and play with each other!
     Jessie is a TV series on Netflix. It is a Disney Channel show. A nanny named Jessie comes to New York City to be an actress, but ends up landing a job as a nanny in a huge penthouse.  She ends up keeping the job because she likes the kids. The shows are about the problems that they encounter, with their parents not being around, and having a nanny.

Tuesday/Girl vs. Monster

     Today is Tuesday, October 20. We had to finish our homework in class in English. My group had to present the homework from last night. We also had to take like a page of notes from a slideshow on the Smartboard. We are doing the turtle race on Thursday in Science. So, today we got our turtles and found out their measurements, and tomorrow I have to figure out the weight. I got turtle number 6, It is a girl and it is twelve years old. It has brown eyes. I named her Baby, and she is basically just like me. She is so cute!
     I am sort of getting into the spirit of Halloween. So, I am going to do a Halloween movie off of Netflix, which is Girl vs. Monster. Olivia Holt plays the main character, and she finds out that her parents are monster hunters. When she is in the basement, she sees a container and opens it. She lets out all kinds of monsters, and the worst of all. She goes to a Halloween party and tries to collect all of the monsters with her best friends. In the end, she faces the worst of all. I think that it is a really good Halloween movie to watch on Netflix.

Monday/ Girl Meets World

     Today is Monday, October 19. My volleyball team has a home game today. We had a tri-match on Saturday and we lost both games. We are doing the turtle race on Thursday, and it is going to be really fun. I have homework in English, but it is really easy. I can finish any homework that I have before my game. My coach gives us about an hour and a half to work on homework. In science, we take these plants home to grow them, for extra credit. I am going to go and get it during intramurals.
     Girl Meets World is basically a continuing show of Boy Meets World. I'm sure that you have watched or at least heard of Boy Meets World. In the new version, Corey and Topanga are parents of Riley and Auggie Mathews. Riley explores the world with her dad, Corey, as her teacher. She has her best friends, Maya, Lucas, ands Farkle by her side. Watch it on Netflix.

Friday/The Wizard of Oz

     Today is Friday, October 16. I was not here basically for the whole day yesterday. The advanced studies kids went to the Power Park yesterday for the pumpkin drop. Apparently I have a lot of work to catch up on, but it hasn't been a lot of work so far. I just came back from General Music, and we are watching The Wizard of Oz. I love the Wizard of Oz, it is one of my all time favorite movies. There is a football game tonight, at the high school. I might go, but I will probably have a lot of work to do, plus I need to clean my room. I fell down the bleachers yesterday at practice, because my foot was weak, and now it is hurting even more. He wouldn't let me practice for the rest of the time. :(
     We are watching The Wizard of Oz in General music. So, I thought that it would be a good idea to talk about it. The Wizard of Oz is a really old movie. If you like old movies, then you will definitely love this one. It is a classic American musical.
    

Wednesday/Pretty Little Liars

     Today is Wednesday, October 14. My volleyball team has a home game today after school. I rolled my ankle at my game on Monday, and it hurts really bad. So, last night I had to completely soak my foot in ice water, and it was horrible, until it went numb. One of my teammates is bringing me an ankle brace for me to wear to the game today. This week seems to be going by really quickly, since we didn't have school on Monday.
     Ok, so I already did a Netflix recommendation on Pretty Little Liars. But, I have recently started reading the book series and I have really enjoyed it. I am on the second book of I think ten. They are very interesting. It is the type of book that once you start reading it, you just cant stop. It has a lot of similarities with the TV show, but they are also very different, details wise. If you are a girl and looking for a good book, then I recommend reading this series.

Monday/Cyber Bully

     Today is Monday, October 13. My homeroom had been working on our door decorations forever. We actually won in our grade. It turned out to look really good. I have volleyball practice today a little later than usual. We have it at 5:30 instead of 3:30. JV stays until 7:30, the normal practice time. But, varsity has to stay until 8:00 for extra practice. I hope that I don't have a lot of homework. Oh, and my team for the pumpkin drop survived, which means that our pumpkin didn't crack. WE didn't win, but it is still an awesome achievement that it didn't brake.
     Cyber Bully is a really inspirational movie on Netflix. It is an ABC Family Original Movie. It is about a girl who is being bullied, along with her best friend. She gets a social media account, that her mom is not very sure about. It turns out that people have a lot to say because people are bullying her over the internet. She knows who it is, but she doesn't want to let her mom know what is going on. She decides to just end it all. She makes a video, saying goodbye to everybody. Her best friend sees it, calls her mom, and they rush over, calling an ambulance on the way. They find her in the bathroom, trying to open a container of pills. Her friend knocks it out of her hand, and they comfort her until the paramedics come. It is a really good and inspiring movie and you should watch it on Netflix.

Tuesdayz/ The Pregnancy Project

      Today is Tuesday, October 6. Today is Nerd vs. Jock day at school. I am a jock, I am wearing my sister's softball jersey, and a big hairbow, elites, and keds. This is spirit week if you didn't know. We have to dress up according to the planned days all week. We don't actually have to, but I think that it is really fun. We also have a pep rally this week, on spirit day. My volleyball team. Will be announced. I hate to be announced in front of the entire school, I don't know why. It is just so embarrassing.

      The pregnancy project is a really interesting movie on Netflix. There is a girl who is doing a project on stereotypes. So, she pretends to be pregnant to see how people would treat her differently. Her peers, and her community acts differently around her. They think that she is different, and they treat her different. She then does a presentation in front of the entire school, talking about stereotypes, and revealing that she is not pregnant. She realized how stereotypes work and how people are labeled and treated. It is a really good movie and you should watch it on Netflix. 

Wednesdays/Americas Funniest Home Videos

     Today is Wednesday, October 7. Today is Character Day, and I am pebbles, from the flintstones. My friend is Fred with me. My volleyball team has a game today, I hope we win. The team that we play is supposed to be really good. I got to go to work on my door decorations for my homebase. I am finished with everything that we need to do in art, so she gave me a pass and let me go to my homebase. I also got my friends out of class to help me work on it.
     Americas Funniest Home Videos is a comedy show on Netflix. It basically shows funny videos that people love to watch. I personally love to watch funny videos. Because I love to laugh. At the end of all of the videos, people vote on which people should win. They win money a du forget what else. But, you should really watch it on Netflix.

Monday/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

     Today is Monday, October 5. This week is spirit week, and today is America Day. Basically, you dress in red, white and blue. There are dress up days all week and it is really fun to dress up for. We just read our book in English today for the whole class period. My class went outside in science for a makeup leaf day, and my shoes are soaked because it was so wet outside. We have started our new project in Art today. This is the last week of the nine weeks, so I wont be in Art anymore. This class, computers, lasts for a semester, so ill be in here for another nine weeks.
     Charlie and the chocolate factory is a movie that I am sure you have seen or have at least heard about it. It was recently put on Netflix. There are two movies for it, an old version, and a new version. The newer version, with Johnny Depp, is on Netflix. My personal favorite is the first one. It is about a boy named Charlie, his family is poor. But, an opportunity comes his way.

Fridayz/Lemonade Mouth

     Today is Friday, October 2. I have volleyball practice after school. In English, we had to finish reading chapter eight with a partner. We had to go outside in Science because we didn't get to get our leaves yesterday, because of the lockdown. It is freezing outside. We don't have homework in Science, but we have to draw something for English. I have finished everything that we need to do in Art, so my friend and I got to go outside and take down some pictures off of the board in the sixth grade hallway. In my next class, I have to work on the pumpkin drop with my group.
     Lemonade Mouth is a Disney Channel movie on Netflix. It is about a girl that is new to a school. The principal says that her shirt is too rebellious, so she had to cover it up with a jacket. Later, in an assembly, she stands up and rebels against his rule. She meets four other people when they have to clean up in detention. They play music together. The music teacher says that they have to compete in the school battle of the bands coming up, so she can prove that music is important. They perform against a really good band, but the band is basically bullies.

Thursday/ High School Musical

     Today is Thursday, October 1. It is the first day of October! I'm really excited for Halloween. I don't know what I should be though. We took a test today in English on the book that we are reading. We had a practice lockdown in Core 2, I was in science. I just finished my Andy Warhol drawing in Art. We don't have a volleyball game today, we just have practice after school. We did have a really intense game yesterday on the JV team. Both teams won.
     High School Musical is a movie that I loved when I was really little. My sister and I would watch it all of the time. It has three movies throughout High School. It is about a new girl named Gabriella who came to a new school and met a basketball player named Troy. They sang together and that is something that they never thought of doing. The auditioned for the lead roles in the school musical. Brother and sister, Sharpay and Ryan, always get the lead role, they saw that there was a callback. Sharpay was really mad. They tried to get them to miss the musical, so that they could perform. They eventually get to perform and are supported by their friends and the entire school.
